These were created as part of a portfolio challenge in Martina Flor’s Big Ampersand community. The brief was to reflect on our aspirations for 2025 and choose one word that summed up our goals and dreams for the year ahead. We were challenged to design a visually compelling lettering piece around this word, capturing its meaning through style, colors, and design elements.
Wanting to spread these wishes around, I created postcards and sent them around the globe to encourage calm, wonder, and a year of flourishing for my lettering friends.
Ideas are explored through paper sketches, layers of tracing paper, and play.
